Lebanon Valley College Students Present Psychology Research
Fifty Lebanon Valley College students recently presented their research at LVC's Fall 2014 Psychology Poster Session. Students gathered to share their experiences in Statistics & Data Analysis Lab, Research Methods Lab, Child Development Lab, and Independent Lab Research.

Lebanon Valley College Recognizes EU Simulation Participants
Thirteen Lebanon Valley College students recently represented the College at the annual simulated European Union (EU) parliamentary session in Washington, D.C. A culmination of the disciplinary perspectives course, DSP 380: "EU Simulation," the trip was organized by the 12 colleges and universities of the Mid-Atlantic European Union Simulation Consortium (MAEUSC).

Lebanon Valley College Recognizes Senior Class Gift Drive Committee Members
The Class of 2015 Gift Drive Committee recently announced their goals for the Senior Class Gift Drive. In celebration of their graduation year, committee members hope to raise $2,015 for LVC through multiple giving opportunities during the 2014-15 academic year. Generous gifts from Woodrow "Skip" Dellinger '62 will aid these fundraising efforts to not only meet, but exceed this goal.

Nineteen Lebanon Valley College students recently attended the University of Maryland, Baltimore County Undergraduate Research Symposium in the Chemical and Biological Sciences. The event was hosted by the College of Natural and Mathematical Sciences at UMBC along with the Department of Biological Sciences and the Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry.

Lebanon Valley College's Wig and Buckle Theater Company is pleased to announce their upcoming production of the musical "Curtains," a "musical comedy whodunit" opening Friday, Oct. 24 at 8 p.m. Since 1935, Wig and Buckle has performed musicals and plays for the enjoyment of LVC students and members of surrounding communities.

Lebanon Valley College Students Participate in Multicultural Student Bridge Program
The Multicultural Student Bridge Program (MSBP) is a three-day pre-orientation program geared at providing incoming first year and transfer ALANA (African/African American, Latino, Asian and Native American) and multiracial students with a jump start on college life at Lebanon Valley College. The program combines peer mentoring, residential living, academic success and leadership development to assist students in making a successful transition to college and the LVC community.

The Peer Mentor Program begins during orientation and continues throughout the first semester. This program eases the transition of new students to LVC. Lebanon Valley College is recognizing its high-achieving first-year students for receiving scholarships from the College. Among the incoming class of 448 students, 63 percent rank in the top 30 percent of their high school class; 12 students were valedictorians; 52 percent of students earned a scholarship worth half-tuition; and five students received the full-tuition Allwein Scholarship. Lebanon Valley College Students Participate in American Celebration of Music in Ireland
Twenty-nine Lebanon Valley College symphony orchestra students spent a week touring and performing across Ireland May 13-20 as part of the American Celebration of Music in Ireland. Orchestra director Dr. Hannes Dietrich was excited to offer students a once-in-a-lifetime performance opportunity at St. Mary's Church of Ireland in Killarney, Castalia Hall in Kilkenny, and St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Glasthule.
