Lebanon Valley College

A Resident Assistant (RA) oversees a floor or wing in a residence hall. The RA serves as a resource for residential students and provides a residential environment conducive to the overall development of students. The RA role encompasses programming, administrative, and student development responsibilities.

Nearly 150 Lebanon Valley College students will march with The Pride of the Valley Marching Band this year. The marching band performs at all home football games as well as appearances at various exhibitions throughout the fall semester.

Fourteen Lebanon Valley College students will perform recitals on campus this fall. Recitals feature a variety of instruments and vocal performances.

Research Group recently presented their research at the annual conference meeting for the Association of the Study of Food and Society (ASFS) and the Agriculture, Food and Human Values Society (AFHVS). The conference, dedicated to the theme "Bridging the Past, Cultivating the Future," brought nearly 500 academics and food professionals to the campus of Chatham University in Pittsburgh, Pa. from June 24-28.

Lebanon Valley College students get the chance to play college sports at a high level while pursuing their intellectual and career goals, and enjoying other interests. While competing for conference championships and earning national rankings, our student-athletes have the flexibility to double major, study abroad, and pursue internships--opportunities that will inform their lives long after their playing careers end.

Eleven students and three faculty members participated in Lebanon Valley College's service-learning trip to Caguas, Puerto Rico in May. Group members visited a residential facility for seniors and a shelter for victims of domestic violence during the one week, high-impact experience. The afternoons were spent tutoring children in two elementary schools, and evenings were devoted to learning about the island from invited guest speakers.

Lebanon Valley College has chosen 60 students to serve as Valley Ambassadors. Valley Ambassadors welcome prospective students and their families, providing a tour through LVC's campus and sharing their knowledge of The Valley.

The 381 graduating seniors were joined by 32 doctor of physical therapy candidates, 44 master's degree candidates, and 41 students who graduated in December 2014 and have now formally received their degrees.
