Lebanon Valley College inducted 141 students to its Sigma Alpha Pi honor society on April 10, 2016, as part of Inquiry 2016. Sigma Alpha Pi is the National Honor Society of Leadership and Success. The Society serves as a powerful force of good in the greater community by encouraging and organizing action to better the world. Students are selected for induction based upon their GPA and level of involvement. The Society is based on six main tenets for achieving success: finding a vision, setting goals, persevering, taking risks, pursuing your passion, and continuous improvement.

Lebanon Valley College inducted 51 students to its Phi Alpha Epsilon honor society on April 3, 2016, as part of Inquiry 2016. Membership is limited to senior students who have achieved a 3.6 GPA, completed 24 credits of LVC coursework, and earned a bronze, silver, or gold community service award.

Lebanon Valley College Students Complete Spring Break Service Trip to Florida
Twenty two students and staff from Lebanon Valley College just returned from an alternative spring break service trip to St. Augustine, Fla. The trip, which took place from March 5 to March 12, was the first time the College has participated with non-profit organizations Council on Aging, the St. Gerard Pregnancy Center, and the St. John's Housing Partnership. They seek to bring people together to build homes, communities, and hope.

The Lebanon Valley College Concert Choir embarks on its 80th Annual Spring Tour Sunday, Mar. 20 in Harrisburg. The tour includes five performances and concludes Sunday, April 3 at 3 p.m. in the Lutz Recital Hall in Blair Music Center.

Lebanon Valley College Awards First Annual Student Innovation Fund Grants
Nine Lebanon Valley College student proposals are one step closer to implementation thanks to inaugural Student Innovation Fund grants announced by LVC President Dr. Lewis E. Thayne. Nine grants were awarded to 20 students for projects ranging from sustainability and outdoor appreciation to student programming and the arts.

More than 30 Lebanon Valley College students completed Brave Zone Network Training during the fall semester. The program trains students to be walking advocates and allies for their peers of marginalized groups like students of color, members of the LGBT community, students of disability, as well as different religious groups.

Lebanon Valley College Students Perform in the Play "Last of the Red Hot Lovers"
This spring Lebanon Valley College's Wig and Buckle Theater Company will perform Neil Simon's 1969 play "Last of the Red Hot Lovers" as part of its 2015-16 Diamond Season. Since 1935, Wig and Buckle has performed musicals and plays for the enjoyment of LVC students and members of surrounding communities.

This Arnold Grant provided two students, both music education majors, with real life teaching experiences on the elementary level. They will teach general music classes and lead workshops in the Colegio Internacional de Asunción in Paraguay.

Fourteen Lebanon Valley College students recently represented the College at the annual simulated European Union (EU) parliamentary session in Washington, D.C. A culmination of the course DSP 380: "EU Simulation," the trip was organized by the Mid-Atlantic European Union Simulation Consortium (MAEUSC).
