Mosiac Mentors Assist in Welcoming LVC Class of 2020

Mosaic Mentors are a group of students that provide direct and dedicated peer support to incoming and transfer ALANA, Multicultural Fellowship, LVEP, Milton Hershey, International, and LGBTQ+ identifying students. The mentor program assists students with their academic, social and personal transition during their first year at LVC.

Lebanon Valley College Students Participate in Multicultural Student Bridge Program

The Multicultural Student Bridge Program (MSBP) is a three-day pre-orientation program geared at providing incoming first year and transfer ALANA (African/African American, Latino, Asian and Native American) and multiracial students with a jump start on college life at Lebanon Valley College. The program combines peer mentoring, residential living, academic success and leadership development to assist students in making a successful transition to college and the LVC community.

Resident Assistants (RA) and Resident Mentors (RM) are key members of the Residence Life staff. An RA oversees a floor or wing in a residence hall, serving as a resource for residential students and providing a residential environment conducive to the overall development of students. Both RA and RM roles encompass programming, administrative, and student development responsibilities.

More than 125 Lebanon Valley College students will march with The Pride of The Valley Marching Band this year. The marching band performs at all home football games as well as appearances at various exhibitions throughout the fall semester.

Lebanon Valley College welcomes nearly 50 students who will participate in the Peer Mentor Program and guide new and transfer students through their first few months at The Valley. Students Gain Global Perspective During Service-Learning Trip to Peru

International service learning trips open a whole new perspective to students who do not usually find themselves encountering extreme cultural immersion. On May 16, 14 students and two faculty advisors set off for a week in Peru where they worked with the Misminay community. It is the second LVC group to participate in this high-impact experience, with the first group visiting in 2014.

Students Receive Arnold Grants for Research and Internships

Various Lebanon Valley College students will study healthcare in Cuba, analyze the Lakota language, and intern at the Pennsylvania House of Representatives. Other students will collaborate with faculty to research user experience differences between American and German students, identify the relationship between genetics and personality in peer pressure, and travel to Brazil for pipe organ education as part of this year's Arnold Grant program.

Lebanon Valley College celebrated its 147th Commencement on Saturday, May 14 with 476 students receiving their degrees in Sorrentino Gymnasium. The 369 graduating seniors were joined by 37 doctor of physical therapy candidates, and 70 master's degree candidates.
