Lebanon Valley College is pleased to announce that the following students have been accepted for admission at The Valley.

Students in Lebanon Valley College's Wig and Buckle Theater Company will take the stage for "A Midsummer Night's Dream" in February. Since 1935, Wig and Buckle has performed musicals and plays for the enjoyment of LVC students and members of surrounding communities.

More than 120 Lebanon Valley College student-athletes have been named to the Middle Atlantic Conference's (MAC) Fall Academic Honor Roll, emphasizing the Flying Dutchmen's commitment to classroom success.

Thirteen Lebanon Valley College students explored the School-to-Prison Pipeline in Philadelphia, Pa. as part of the College's 2017 Social Justice Institute. The three-day leadership experience allows students to explore social justice topics.

More than 20 Lebanon Valley College students will participate in an immersive study away experience this spring in countries including New Zealand, Spain, Italy, the Dominican Republic, and Germany. Students will also participate in domestic programs in Philadelphia and Washington, D.C.

Lebanon Valley College recognized more than 200 student-athletes who competed for the Flying Dutchmen fall teams.

Lebanon Valley College has announced its Dean's List recipients for the fall 2016 semester. Dean's list students must maintain a GPA of at least 3.4 out of 4.0.

Sixteen Lebanon Valley College students recently represented the College at the annual simulated European Union (EU) parliamentary session in Washington, D.C. A culmination of the course DSP 380: "EU Simulation," the trip was organized by the Mid-Atlantic European Union Simulation Consortium (MAEUSC).

Students from Lebanon Valley College presented award-winning research in the areas of biology, chemistry, biochemistry, molecular biology and cell biology at the 19th Undergraduate Research Symposium in the Chemical and Biological Sciences at UMBC in October.

Eleven LVC students attended the College's sixth annual Leadership Conference on October 18. This year's theme was "Leadership: The Challenge of Change."

More than 60 students received a Multicultural Fellowship from Lebanon Valley College this year. These Fellowship awards recognize and reward commitment to work, service, and scholarly achievement for African-American, Latino, Asian, Native American and multiracial LVC students.

Lebanon Valley College's Wig and Buckle Theater Company will begin its 81st season with a production of Cole Porter's 1948 musical "Kiss Me Kate." Since 1935, Wig and Buckle has performed musicals and plays for the enjoyment of LVC students and members of surrounding communities.

In addition to working toward earning a Lebanon Valley College degree, 46 students are volunteering through the Lebanon Valley Education Partnership (LVEP) to encourage other, younger students to enroll in college.

Student Government is tasked with fostering understanding, communication, and cooperation among students, faculty, and administrators.

Mosaic Mentors are a group of students that provide direct and dedicated peer support to incoming and transfer ALANA, Multicultural Fellowship, LVEP, Milton Hershey, International, and LGBTQ+ identifying students. The mentor program assists students with their academic, social and personal transition during their first year at LVC.

The Multicultural Student Bridge Program (MSBP) is a three-day pre-orientation program geared at providing incoming first year and transfer ALANA (African/African American, Latino, Asian and Native American) and multiracial students with a jump start on college life at Lebanon Valley College. The program combines peer mentoring, residential living, academic success and leadership development to assist students in making a successful transition to college and the LVC community.

Lebanon Valley College welcomes its Legacy enrollees as part of the incoming Class of 2020. Legacy students - children of Lebanon Valley College graduates - receive a $2,500 scholarship each year.

Resident Assistants (RA) and Resident Mentors (RM) are key members of the Residence Life staff. An RA oversees a floor or wing in a residence hall, serving as a resource for residential students and providing a residential environment conducive to the overall development of students. Both RA and RM roles encompass programming, administrative, and student development responsibilities.

More than 125 Lebanon Valley College students will march with The Pride of The Valley Marching Band this year. The marching band performs at all home football games as well as appearances at various exhibitions throughout the fall semester.

More than 30 Lebanon Valley College students presented their scientific work at the seventh annual Disappearing Boundaries Summer Research Meeting Wednesday, July 13 at the College's Neidig-Garber Science Center.

Lebanon Valley College welcomes nearly 50 students who will participate in the Peer Mentor Program and guide new and transfer students through their first few months at The Valley. Peer mentors are responsible for assisting new students in succeeding personally, socially, and academically through connections to the College and their peers.

Lebanon Valley College is pleased to welcome its third class of Allwein Scholars. They begin their college careers at The Valley in August. Four students received the prestigious John Bowman Allwein Scholarship, established by Dr. Lewis E. Thayne, LVC president, through the generosity of Dr. John "Jack" Bowman Allwein '56.

Lebanon Valley College has chosen 52 students to serve as Valley Ambassadors. Valley Ambassadors welcome prospective students and their families, providing a tour through LVC's campus and sharing their knowledge of The Valley.

Four students from Lebanon Valley College's E.A.T. (Engage, Analyze, Transform) Research Group traveled to the University of Toronto-Scarborough in June to present their research at the annual meeting of the Association for the Study of Food and Society (ASFS), the Agriculture, Food and Human Values Society (AFHVS), and the Canadian Association of Food Studies (CAFS).

More than 150 Lebanon Valley student-athletes have been named to the Middle Atlantic Conference's (MAC) Winter and Spring Academic Honor Roll.
