Seven Lebanon Valley College Mathematical Sciences students achieved positive scores on the Putnam Exam, the preeminent math competition at the college level for students in North America. Nearly 4,000 students from 470 institutions participated and had a median score of 10 and an average of 13. Jack Putnam and Nick Treadwell led the group with scores of 13. Austin Wright, Turner Hannon, Bryn Deibel, Sam Lawler, and Anna Moore also achieved positive scores.

The paper, published in the International Journal of Molecular Sciences, investigates the effects that ethanol has on Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI).
