Lebanon Valley College named 60 students as first-year mentors who guided new first-year and transfer students through their early weeks at The Valley. First-year mentors are responsible for assisting new students in succeeding personally, socially, and academically through connections to the College and their peers.

Two Lebanon Valley College student-athletes recently earned conference player of the week awards for their performances.

Lebanon Valley College announced 45 Resident Assistants (RA) for the 2022-23 academic year. An RA oversees a floor or wing in a residence hall, serving as a resource for residential students and providing a residential environment conducive to the overall development of students.

Lebanon Valley College welcomed more than 30 legacy students to campus as part of the nearly 500 new students arriving to campus this fall. Legacy students - children of Lebanon Valley College graduates - receive a $2,500 scholarship each year.

Months of planning, shopping, and packing all culminated in an exciting and emotional move-in day and orientation weekend for 489 new students (439 first-year and 50 transfer students) starting at Lebanon Valley College for the 2022-23 academic year.

The Breen Center for Graduate Success named four students as Career Peers for the 2022-2023 academic year. Career Peers assist fellow students with career exploration, constructing a resume, cover letter, and LinkedIn profile, expanding their professional network, interviewing etiquette and practice, and strategic job searching.

Lebanon Valley College's Pride of The Valley Marching Band features 125 students this year. The marching band performs at all home football games as well as appearances at various exhibitions throughout the fall semester.

LVC Counseling Services has named four students as 5050 Peer Helpers for the 2022-23 academic year. 5050 Peer Helpers are trained and supervised by LVC's professional counselors to help students with any issues they might have, whether it is a long distance relationship, social anxiety, or academic concerns. 5050 Peer Helpers also run weekend groups open to all students during the semester.

Lebanon Valley College's Dr. Rachel Albert, associate professor of psychology, presented "Infant vocalizations elicit simplified speech in childcare settings.," at the International Congress on Infant Studies in Ottawa, Canada, and virtually at the National Research Conference on Early Childhood. The research was co-authored by Morgan Ernst and Reagan Little.

Nearly 40 Lebanon Valley College students participated in summer science research with faculty.

Lebanon Valley College men's ice hockey players Mac Diver and Max Loga were named Krampade All-American Scholars by the American Hockey Coaches Association.

Five LVC student-athletes were recognized in six events as All-Region honorees by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) for the 2022 Outdoor Track and Field season.

More than 250 Lebanon Valley College student-athletes have been named to the Middle Atlantic Conference's (MAC) Winter and Spring Academic Honor Roll. The academic honor roll is comprised of student-athletes who compete in a varsity-level sport and registered a term/semester GPA of 3.20 (on a 4.00 scale) or higher.

Lebanon Valley's Owen Buhr established another school record time and finished third in the 400-meter hurdles at the NCAA Division III Outdoor Track and Field National Championships. Earlier in the week, he was recognized as the Men's Outdoor Track and Field Track Athlete of the Year by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA).

Lebanon Valley's Lauren Wick was selected to the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) Academic All-District Women's Track & Field/Cross Country Team for the second straight year. She earned first-team honors in NCAA Division III District 4, which covers colleges in the state of Pennsylvania.
