Lebanon Valley College students Denise Colon Olivencia and Mary Petruschke participated in a panel with Dr. Gabriela McEvoy, Professor of Spanish, at the XXXVI Congreso Internacional de Literatura y Estudios Hispanicos in San Sebastian, Spain. The presentations focused on the integration of language and culture in Spanish teaching.

Lebanon Valley College recognized its Gold Community Service Award recipients, The Gold Award recognizes students who have recorded at least 100 community service hours and taken part in an approved service trip or recorded at least 250 total hours, with 100 or more served in the community.

Lebanon Valley College Students Achieve Positive Scores on Putnam Exam
Seven Lebanon Valley College Mathematical Sciences students achieved positive scores on the Putnam Exam, the preeminent math competition at the college level for students in North America. Nearly 4,000 students from 470 institutions participated and had a median score of 10 and an average of 13. Jack Putnam and Nick Treadwell led the group with scores of 13. Austin Wright, Turner Hannon, Bryn Deibel, Sam Lawler, and Anna Moore also achieved positive scores.

Lebanon Valley College celebrated 19 legacy graduates who received their degrees during the 153rd Commencement on Saturday, May 14. Legacy graduates have at least one parent who had previously graduated from the College.

Lebanon Valley College Welcomes New Legacy Students
Lebanon Valley College welcomed more than 30 legacy students to campus as part of the nearly 500 new students arriving to campus this fall. Legacy students - children of Lebanon Valley College graduates - receive a $2,500 scholarship each year.
