Lebanon Valley College Students Achieve Positive Scores on Putnam Exam
Seven Lebanon Valley College Mathematical Sciences students achieved positive scores on the Putnam Exam, the preeminent math competition at the college level for students in North America. Nearly 4,000 students from 470 institutions participated and had a median score of 10 and an average of 13. Jack Putnam and Nick Treadwell led the group with scores of 13. Austin Wright, Turner Hannon, Bryn Deibel, Sam Lawler, and Anna Moore also achieved positive scores.

Local Lebanon Valley College Students Place Second in Computer Programming Contest
A team of Lebanon Valley College computer science students placed second at the 12th Annual Dickinson College Spring Programming Contest. The competition included 20 three-student teams representing colleges and universities from Maryland, Virginia, and Pennsylvania. The LVC team solved five of the eight computer programming problems in four hours.
