Lebanon Valley College Welcomes New Legacy Students

Lebanon Valley College welcomed 19 legacy students to campus as part of its record-high 478 first-year students arriving to campus this fall. Legacy students - children of Lebanon Valley College graduates - receive a $2,500 scholarship each year.

Lebanon Valley College named 14 students as Mosaic Mentors for the upcoming academic year. They will provide direct and dedicated peer support to incoming and transfer ALANA (African/African American, Latina, Asian and Native American), Multicultural Fellowship, Lebanon Valley Educational Partnership, international, and LGBTQ+ identifying students.

Lebanon Valley College Sets Record with 478 First-Year Students

Lebanon Valley College opened its fall semester with a record number of first-year students. The new class of 478 students, the most in the College's 153-year history, surpasses last year's record of 473 first-year students. In fall 2017, LVC opened with 466 first-year students, also a record at the time.

The United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) has announced the all-academic team and individual award recipients for the 2019 season. The Lebanon Valley women's track & field team squad earned the team award, while women's sprinter Alyssa Diffenderfer, women's jumper Jess Attieh, and men's thrower Trent Donlan all earned individual accolades.

Athletic Training Students Complete Short-Term Study Abroad Trip to China

Six Lebanon Valley College athletic training students recently completed Perspectives from Traditional Chinese Medicine, a 10-day study abroad experience in Shanghai and Beijing. The trip included attendance at the Asia Pacific Conference for Certified Athletic Trainers in Shanghai and courses at Beijing Sport University.

Nine Lebanon Valley College students and two employees traveled to Peru for a week of service and cultural immersion. Living in Misminay for most of the trip, the group taught English to children and built and planted a greenhouse in order to establish a sustainable food source for the community.
