Ten Lebanon Valley College students recently represented the College at the annual European Union (EU) Simulation parliamentary session in Washington, D.C. A culmination of the disciplinary perspectives course, DSP 380: "EU Simulation," the trip was organized by the colleges and universities of the Mid-Atlantic European Union Simulation Consortium (MAEUSC).

LVC Counseling Services has named four students as 5050 Peer Helpers for the 2021-22 academic year. 5050 Peer Helpers are trained and supervised by LVC's professional counselors to help students with any issues they might have, whether it is a long distance relationship, social anxiety, or academic concerns. 5050 Peer Helpers also run weekend groups open to all students during the semester.

Six students in the Lebanon Valley Psychology Department have now published research. The group teamed with Dr. Michael Kitchens, professor of psychology, and a group of researchers from Gettysburg College.

The Breen Center for Graduate Success named four students as Career Peers for the 2021-2022 academic year. Career Peers assist fellow students with career exploration, constructing a resume, cover letter, and LinkedIn profile, expanding their professional network, interviewing etiquette and practice, and strategic job searching.

Lebanon Valley College named eight students as Mosaic Mentors for the upcoming academic year. They will provide direct and dedicated peer support to incoming and transfer BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, People of Color), Multicultural Fellowship, Lebanon Valley Educational Partnership, international, and LGBTQ+ identifying students.

LVC is proud to announce its largest first-year class in history. The 487 new students surpassed the 478 new enrollees in 2019. Aside from last years' COVID-affected enrollment across the country, LVC has welcomed record classes of new enrollees in four of the past five years.

Lebanon Valley College announced 45 Resident Assistants (RA) for the 2021-22 academic year. An RA oversees a floor or wing in a residence hall, serving as a resource for residential students and providing a residential environment conducive to the overall development of students.

Lebanon Valley College named 57 students as first-year mentors who guided new first-year and transfer students through their early weeks at The Valley. First-year mentors are responsible for assisting new students in succeeding personally, socially, and academically through connections to the College and their peers.

Four members of LVC's men's and women's track & field teams were named NCAA DIII All-Academic Athletes. The four runners honored were Owen Buhr, Logan Grauer, Zach Reed, and Lauren Wick.

The Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) has named Lebanon Valley to the organization's IWLCA Zag Sports Academic Honor Squads. Bailey Dills, Morgan Ernst, Julia Gabriel, Emily Haid, Brittany Hathaway, Allison Hege, and Jaclyn Little were also named to the IWLCA Zag Sports Division III Academic Honor Roll.

A total of 33 Lebanon Valley College men's and women's ice hockey players were recognized by the United Collegiate Hockey Conference (UCHC) for their academic performance during the 2020-21 season.

For the first time in her career, Lebanon Valley Women's Cross Country and Track & Field's Lauren Wick has been rewarded for her stellar athletic and academic efforts by being named Academic All-District by the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA).
