Annville, PA (04/12/2018) — The Suzanne H. Arnold Art Gallery proudly presents the Studio Art Thesis Exhibition. The showcase, running from April 25-May 12, features the individual work of nine Lebanon Valley College Department of Art & Visual Culture majors.
Students Maya Calderwood '19, Heidi Deitz '18, Anna Evanko '18, Rachel Frantz '18, Sarah Johnson '18, Charlotte Jones '19, Blair Orndorf '20, Audrey Reiley '18, and Jordan Sears '18 share work they created during this semester in a class taught by Michael Pittari, professor of art & visual culture.
As a capstone experience in the Studio Art class, the work of each artist demonstrates conceptual thinking and technical refinement in the visualization of complex ideas. The Studio Art Thesis Exhibition marks the first show of student work exhibited in the Gallery in about a decade.
The opening reception for the Studio Art Thesis Exhibition is Wednesday, April 25 from 5-7 p.m. in Zimmerman Recital Hall of the Suzanne H. Arnold Art Gallery. It is free and open to the public.
Gallery hours are Wednesday, 5-8 p.m., Thursday and Friday, 1-4:30 p.m., and Saturday and Sunday, 11 a.m.-5 p.m., and by appointment for groups. Please contact the Gallery at 717-867-6445 or gallery@lvc.edu to arrange a private Gallery talk for your school or organization.
