Lebanon Valley College honored 18 students for their demonstrated leadership during the past academic year.

Lebanon Valley College welcomes 60 students who will participate in the Peer Mentor Program and guide new and transfer students through their first few months at The Valley. Peer mentors are responsible for assisting new students in succeeding personally, socially, and academically through connections to the College and their peers.

Lebanon Valley College named 15 students as Mosaic Mentors for the upcoming academic year. They will provide direct and dedicated peer support to incoming and transfer ALANA (African/African American, Latina, Asian and Native American), Multicultural Fellowship, Lebanon Valley Educational Partnership, international, and LGBTQ+ identifying students.

Lebanon Valley College has chosen 62 students to serve as Valley Ambassadors. Valley Ambassadors welcome prospective students and their families, providing a tour through LVC's campus and sharing their knowledge of The Valley.

Thirteen Lebanon Valley College students explored the School-to-Prison Pipeline in Philadelphia, Pa. as part of the College's 2017 Social Justice Institute. The three-day leadership experience allows students to explore social justice topics.

Eleven LVC students attended the College's sixth annual Leadership Conference on October 18. This year's theme was "Leadership: The Challenge of Change."

Twenty-eight Lebanon Valley College students travel to Atlanta, Ga., as part of the 2015 Social Justice Institute, a leadership institute that allows students to explore how oppression impacts true equality.

The inaugural Student Summit on Inclusive Excellence (SSIE) was held Monday, Nov. 17 at Lebanon Valley College. Students discussed the theoretical foundation of Inclusive Excellence and identified key related issues. Students were empowered to address these issues and enact change through educational programming.

The Class of 2015 Gift Drive Committee recently announced their goals for the Senior Class Gift Drive. In celebration of their graduation year, committee members hope to raise $2,015 for LVC through multiple giving opportunities during the 2014-15 academic year. Generous gifts from Woodrow "Skip" Dellinger '62 will aid these fundraising efforts to not only meet, but exceed this goal.

Lebanon Valley College has selected 60 students to serve as Valley Ambassadors. Valley Ambassadors tour prospective students and their families through LVC, where they have the opportunity to see the academic quad, a typical classroom, a dorm room, and the athletic fields, while providing knowledge of The Valley.
