LVC Students Co-Author Published Research
Two current Lebanon Valley College students and one alumnus are co-authors on published research with their professor. Dr. Valbona Hoxha, Assistant Professor of Biology, published "TBI and Tau Loss of Function Both Affect and Naive Ethanol Sensitivity in Drosophila." The paper, published in the International Journal of Molecular Sciences, investigates the effects that ethanol has on Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI).

Lebanon Valley College Students Contribute to Published Psychology Research
Lebanon Valley College's Dr. Rachel Albert, associate professor of psychology, presented "Infant vocalizations elicit simplified speech in childcare settings.," at the International Congress on Infant Studies in Ottawa, Canada, and virtually at the National Research Conference on Early Childhood. The research was co-authored by Morgan Ernst and Reagan Little.

Students Receive Arnold Grants for Research and Internships
Various Lebanon Valley College students will study healthcare in Cuba, analyze the Lakota language, and intern at the Pennsylvania House of Representatives. Other students will collaborate with faculty to research user experience differences between American and German students, identify the relationship between genetics and personality in peer pressure, and travel to Brazil for pipe organ education as part of this year's Arnold Grant program.

Students from E.A.T. Research Group Present at Conference
Six students from Lebanon Valley College's E.A.T. Research Group recently presented their research at the annual conference meeting for the Association of the Study of Food and Society (ASFS) and the Agriculture, Food and Human Values Society (AFHVS). The conference, dedicated to the theme "Bridging the Past, Cultivating the Future," brought nearly 500 academics and food professionals to the campus of Chatham University in Pittsburgh, Pa. from June 24-28.
