William Powanda Participates in Fall Athletics at Lebanon Valley College

William Powanda of Minersville, Pa., was among 233 Lebanon Valley College students who played a varsity sport in fall 2014. Powanda, a graduate of Minersville Area High School, is pursuing a bachelor of science in physics at The Valley and was a member of Lebanon Valley's football team for the fall 2014 season.

The Flying Dutchmen football team finished the season a deceiving 3-7 as the Blue and White lost five one-possession games this fall. Despite the tough outcomes, eight Lebanon Valley players were named MAC Commonwealth All-Conference honorees.

A member of the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division III, American Collegiate Hockey Association (ACHA), Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC), and Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC), Lebanon Valley College offers 24 sports.
