Tyler Hodges Named 2018 Lebanon Valley College Football Team Captain

Tyler Hodges of Lewisberry, Pa., is one of five student-athletes to be named captain for the Lebanon Valley College football team for the upcoming 2018 season.

Hodges, a graduate of Red Land High School, is pursuing a bachelor of arts in economics at The Valley.

Hodges has been outstanding as a member of LVC's special teams the past two seasons. In 2017, the linebacker racked 27 total tackles, including 18 solo stops and 3.5 TFL. He also forced one fumble, recovered another, broke up a pair of passes and blocked a punt. He was pegged the MAC Special Teams Player of the Week after a win over Stevenson in October and was named LVC's 2017 Special Teams MVP. He also earned a spot on the MAC Academic Honor Roll.
