Travis Acker Earns Men's Ice Hockey MAC Weekly Award

Travis Acker of Annville, Pa., is one of two Lebanon Valley College men's ice hockey athletes to receive a Middle Atlantic Conference's (MAC) Weekly Men's Ice Hockey Award. Acker earned offensive player of the week.

Acker netted a pair of goals in LVC's 5-2 victory over Elmira on Saturday, Dec. 2. With the team trailing, he scored 43 seconds into the second period to tie the game at 1-1. Then in the third period, the junior scored the team's fifth goal with a little more than two and a half minutes to go. Acker was a plus-three in the contest.

Acker, a graduate of Exeter Township High School, is pursuing a bachelor of science in psychology at The Valley.
