Timothy Schumacher Earns MAC All-Conference Honors

Timothy Schumacher of Myersville, Md. is one of five Lebanon Valley College football players named All-Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC), as voted by the league's head coaches. Schumacher, a graduate of Middletown Senior High School was named Second Team MAC All-Conference and is pursuing a bachelor of science in business administration at The Valley.

Schumacher had a breakout senior campaign for LVC. The linebacker ranked tied for second in the nation with five forced fumbles and was tops among Dutchmen with 59 total tackles. He made 37 solo stops, including 5.5 tackles for loss and 0.5 sacks. He added two interceptions to go along with one fumble recovery and a quarterback hurry. Schumacher was named the ECAC South Player of the Week and MAC Defensive Player of the Week thanks to strong performance in a win over Stevenson that saw him force and recover a fumble, as well as come away with a pick.
