Terrence Habiyaremye Recognized as LVC Student-Athlete

Terrence Habiyaremye of Hummelstown, Pa., is one of more than 200 student-athletes who competed for the Flying Dutchmen during the 2017 spring sports season. Habiyaremye, a graduate of Central Dauphin East High School, received a bachelor of science in biology at The Valley.

Habiyaremye was a member of the men's outdoor track and field team. Men's outdoor track & field capped its 2017 season by finishing fourth at the MAC Championships in May. Terrence Habiyaremye (800m) and Adam Wagaman (SP) won individual MAC Championships at the event, while Nick Scullin, Kyle Munro, and Garrett Santis joined Habiyaremye in winning gold in the 4x800m relay. In all, 20 track & field student-athletes earned all-conference recognition this spring. Habiyaremye (800m), Scullin (800m), and Wagaman (SP) were named USTFCCCA All-Region as well. Habiyaremye was named to the following teams: U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) Outdoor All-Region, MAC Spring Sportsmanship, and All-MAC Outdoor First Team for the 800-meter run and 4x800 meter relay.

A member of the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division III, American Collegiate Hockey Association (ACHA), Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC), and Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC), Lebanon Valley College offers 25 sports.
