Teanna Shutt Recognized as LVC Student-Athlete

Teanna Shutt of Elysburg, Pa., is one of more than 200 student-athletes who competed for the Flying Dutchmen during the Fall 2016 semester. Shutt, a graduate of Southern Columbia Area High School, is pursuing a bachelor of science in health science at The Valley.

Shutt was a member of the women's soccer team. Shutt received the following post-season accolades: MAC Fall Sportsmanship Team 2016. The women's soccer team finished the 2016 season with an overall record of 12-6 and made a return to the MAC Commonwealth Tournament. The Dutchmen won the Play-In Game 1-0 against Albright before falling to the No. 5 team in the country, Messiah, by a 2-0 score in the Semifinal round.

A member of the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division III, American Collegiate Hockey Association (ACHA), Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC), and Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC), Lebanon Valley College offers 25 sports.
