Sydney Fuhrman Presents Panel at PA Writers' Conference

Sydney Fuhrman of York, Pa., joined another Lebanon Valley College student and two faculty members to present a panel discussion at the PA Writers' Conference in August. Fuhrman, a graduate of Central York High School, is pursuing a bachelor of arts in English at The Valley.

The group presented a panel entitled, Spark into Flame: Writing Prompts in and Out of the Workshop. Their panel was designed for writers, workshop leaders, teachers, and students, and discussed the role of prompts both inside and outside of the workshop. The group provided tips for moving from freshly generated work to submission-ready pieces.
