Stephen Shelly Recognized as LVC Student-Athlete

Stephen Shelly of Quakertown, Pa., is one of more than 150 student-athletes who competed for the Flying Dutchmen during the Winter 2017-18 sports season. Shelly, a graduate of Quakertown Community High School, is pursuing a bachelor of science in actuarial science at The Valley.

Shelly was a member of the men's indoor track and field team. Nick Scullin became the first LVC men's track & field athlete to compete in the NCAA Division III Indoor Championships since 2015 in the 2017-18 season. At the MAC Championships, the men earned seven overall medals, including Scullin's gold in the 800-meter run.

A member of the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division III, American Collegiate Hockey Association (ACHA), Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC), and Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC), Lebanon Valley College offers 26 sports.
