Shaquel Marshall Recognized for Scholarly Work at Undergraduate Conference

Shaquel Marshall of Baltimore, Md., is one of two Lebanon Valley College students who received awards for scholarly papers they authored. The awards were presented at "The Examined Life: An Undergraduate Conference in the Liberal Arts" held at St. Francis University this spring.

Marshall won honorable mention in Media Theory for "From the Black Panthers to Black Lives Matter: Social Media and Social Movements."

Marshall, a graduate of Western High School, is pursuing a bachelor of arts in global studies and sociology from The Valley.
