Sarah Beatty of Mohrsville a Student Leader at Lebanon Valley College

Sarah Beatty of Mohrsville, Pa., is serving as a student leader at Lebanon Valley College this year. Beatty is the president of Biology Club.

The Biology Club increases awareness of and interest in the biological sciences among non-science and science majors. Activities include faculty lectures, guest speakers, field trips, and social gatherings. The club is student oriented, organized, and operated.

Beatty is a junior biology major.

Lebanon Valley College is located in Annville, Pa., just 15 minutes east of Hershey and 35 minutes east of Harrisburg. Philadelphia, Washington D.C. and Baltimore are all approximately two hours from LVC. Founded in 1866, the College welcomes more than 1,600 full-time undergraduate students studying more than 30 majors, as well as self-designed majors. It guarantees graduation within four years and offers automatic scholarships to students ranking in the top 30 percent of their high school class worth up to one half the cost of tuition at LVC.
