Sara Urner of Muncy Valley Spending Semester in China

Sara Urner of Muncy Valley, Pa. is one of 22 Lebanon Valley College students studying away for the fall 2015 semester. Urner is spending the semester in China as part of the College's study abroad program, which includes 12 foreign countries and two stateside internship opportunities.

This fall semester program offers students the opportunity to take an introductory Mandarin language course, combined with relevant contextual courses and a valuable internship.ments. Courses are taken at Monash University, located 30 minutes outside of Melbourne's city center.

Urner, a graduate of Sullivan County High School, is pursuing a bachelor of arts in English at The Valley.

By the time they graduate, nearly 20 percent of LVC students will have spent time studying and traveling abroad, experiences that will shape and inform the rest of their lives as global citizens.
