Samantha R. Hoover of Lititz Spending Semester Abroad

Samantha R. Hoover , a junior English major at Lebanon Valley College, is spending the spring 2013 semester in New Zealand as part of the College's study abroad program. Hoover is a graduate of Warwick High School.

The University of Waikato is located in the city of Hamilton, New Zealand's fourth largest city in the north-central region of the North Island, only 90 minutes south of Auckland. The Waikato area offers a wide range of recreational activities with many of New Zealand's major lifestyle just a short drive from the University. These include excellent surfing and swimming beaches, forest parks, lakes, thermal hot pools, and limestone caves.

Lebanon Valley College® in Annville, Pa., welcomes 1,630 full-time undergraduates studying more than 30 majors, as well as self-designed majors. Founded in 1866, LVC has graduate programs in physical therapy, business, music education, and science education.
