Roberto Valdes Recognized for Leadership at Lebanon Valley College

Roberto M. Valdes of Lebanon, Pa., was recognized at the Sixth Annual Student Affairs Leadership and Service Awards Ceremony at Lebanon Valley College on May 3. Photos from the event are available by clicking here.

Valdes was named Student Leader of the Year. This award is presented to the individuals who, by both action and accomplishment in co-curricular life, have created positive change within a student organization and its student membership, as well as contributed to the overall quality of student life. Valdes was also named Outstanding First Year Resident Assistant. The award is presented by Jason Kuntz, director of residential life, on behalf of the residential life staff for the 2011-2012 academic year.

Valdes, a sophomore political science major, is a graduate of Lebanon High School.
