Robert Doughty Recognized for men's lacrosse at Lebanon Valley College

Robert Doughty of Rochester, N.Y., was one of more than 200 Lebanon Valley College students who played a varsity sport during the 2016 spring season. Doughty, a graduate of Meade Senior High School, was a member of Lebanon Valley's men's lacrosse team(s). Doughty received a bachelor of arts in criminal justice at The Valley.

LVC's men's lacrosse team finished the season with a 5-3 record in MAC Commonwealth play, giving them an overall record of 11-8. The team ended its season with a loss to Albright in the MAC Commonwealth Tournament Play-In game before the Dutchmen fell Stockton in the ECAC Mid-Atlantic Tournament Semifinal. Five players were recognized with MAC Commonwealth All-Conference honors including first-team nods for Koty Keefer and Austin Minnich. Coleman Wagner and Cameron Epple were named second-team all-conference and Nick Mowry earned all-conference honorable mention. Chris Bergeron earned a spot on the MAC Spring Sportsmanship Team. The lacrosse program raised more than $3,000, to donate to the American Cancer Society and Relay for Life during their fourth-annual Crosse Out Cancer game.

A member of the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division III, American Collegiate Hockey Association (ACHA), Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC), and Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC), Lebanon Valley College offers 24 sports.
