Rileigh Jo Evitts Earns MAC Academic Honors

Rileigh Jo Evitts of Auburn, Pa., is one of four Lebanon Valley College student-athletes who received academic awards from the MIddle Atlantic Conference.

Evitts, a member of the women's soccer team, was named MAC Academic All-Conference. Evitts, a graduate of Schuylkill Haven Area High School, is pursuing a bachelor of science in neuroscience at The Valley.

Evitts was named United Soccer Coaches (USC) Third-Team All-Region and led the Dutchmen in goals (11) and points (23). She scored one game-winning goal, and also paced LVC in shots with 74. In September, the junior matched the program's single-game record for total points with 10 and tied the single-game record with five goals scored in a win over Marywood. Evitts was named to the All-MAC Commonwealth First Team and she became the first player in prgoram history to be named the USC Division III National Player of the Week. She's also excelled in the classroom. In addition to her most recent academic accolade, Evitts has twice earned a spot on the MAC Academic Honor Roll. She posted a 3.73 term GPA this fall.
