Olivia Edwards of Blandon Spending Semester in Washington, D.C.

2015 Oct 2

Olivia Edwards of Blandon, Pa. is one of 22 Lebanon Valley College students studying away for the fall 2015 semester. Edwards is spending the semester in Washington, D.C. as part of the College's study abroad program, which includes 12 foreign countries and two stateside internship opportunities.

This fall or spring semester program offers students in any major the chance to complete an internship in the heart of our nation's capital while earning academic credits. The Washington Center provides opportunities for professional exploration, intellectual development, and personal growth. Their accredited program features a field placement, forum, and an elective class.

Edwards, a graduate of Fleetwood Area High School, is pursuing a bachelor of arts in political science at The Valley.

By the time they graduate, nearly 20 percent of LVC students will have spent time studying and traveling abroad, experiences that will shape and inform the rest of their lives as global citizens.
