Nicole Files Recognized for Participation in Lebanon Valley College's April Inquiry Event

2016 Apr 20

Nicole Files of Lancaster, Pa., was selected to participate in Lebanon Valley College's April 14 Inquiry symposium.

Files, a graduate of Manheim Township High School, is pursuing a bachelor of science in accounting and business administration and Spanish at The Valley.

Nearly 200 undergraduates-a record-breaking amount-from every academic department displayed their work to an audience of faculty, peers, trustees, administrators, industry reps, and friends of the College during the symposium. Student work included original research, scholarship, and creative efforts. This year, representatives from area businesses, industries, and agencies judged student work in chemistry, biology, biochemistry, neuroscience, psychology, digital communications, and business.

Files collaborated with two other students on a project titled "Industry Analysis _ Retail Family Clothing Stores" that earned third place in the Digital Communications/Business category.
