Michael Butcher to Study Away in Washington, D.C. This Fall

Michael Butcher of Middletown, Md., is one of 30 Lebanon Valley College students who will participate in an immersive experience by studying away during the Fall 2016 semester. Butcher will be studying in Washington, D.C..

This fall or spring semester program offers students in any major the chance to complete an internship in the heart of our nation's capital while earning academic credits. The Washington Center provides opportunities for professional exploration, intellectual development, and personal growth. Their accredited program features a field placement, forum, and an elective class.

Butcher, a graduate of Middletown Senior High School, is pursuing a bachelor of arts in global studies at The Valley.

LVC offers full-semester programs in 11 countries as well as several short-term international programs. By the time they graduate, 20 percent of LVC students will have lived and studied in another country.
