Megan Kimmel Recognized for women's golf at Lebanon Valley College

Megan Kimmel of Ephrata, Pa., was one of more than 200 Lebanon Valley College students who played a varsity sport during the 2016 spring season. Kimmel, a graduate of Ephrata Senior High School, was a member of Lebanon Valley's women's golf team(s). Kimmel is pursuing a bachelor of science in biochemistry and molecular biology at The Valley.

Junior Megan Kimmel turned in another strong season for the Dutchmen on the links. She was the winner of the Eastern Spring Invitational and the first LVC player to win the MAC Championship Individual title en route to earning first-team all-conference honors. Kaitlyn Kennedy, Madeline Szekeres, and Gabrielle Pretot also competed in the MAC championship tournament. Kimmel also was selected to the MAC Spring Sportsmanship Team.

A member of the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division III, American Collegiate Hockey Association (ACHA), Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC), and Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC), Lebanon Valley College offers 24 sports.
