Megan Kimmel Recognized as LVC Student-Athlete

Megan Kimmel of Ephrata, Pa., is one of more than 200 student-athletes who competed for the Flying Dutchmen during the 2017 spring sports season. Kimmel, a graduate of Ephrata Senior High School, received a bachelor of science in biochemistry and molecular biology at The Valley.

Kimmel was a member of the Women's golf team. Women's golf saw the culmination of the career of the best player in the programIs short history when senior Megan Kimmel wrapped up her four years by finishing sixth at the MAC Championships and earning second-team all-conference honors. Junior Kaitlyn Kennedy finished 11th at the leagueIs championship event and picked up an all-conference honorable mention nod in the process. Kimmel was named to the MAC Spring Sportsmanship Team.

A member of the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division III, American Collegiate Hockey Association (ACHA), Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC), and Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC), Lebanon Valley College offers 25 sports.
