Matthew Dwyer of Collegeville, Pa., is serving as a student leader at Lebanon Valley College this year. Dwyer is the president of Student Programming Board.

A branch of student Government that plans and implements a variety of social and educational events for the LVC community. The board sponsors 12 coffeehouses per year at MJ's Coffeehouse and a variety of performances (comedians, bands, etc.) nearly every Friday night in the College Center. Lectures and special cultural events are scheduled throughout each semester.

Dwyer is a sophomore biology major.

Lebanon Valley College is located in Annville, Pa., just 15 minutes east of Hershey and 35 minutes east of Harrisburg. Philadelphia, Washington D.C. and Baltimore are all approximately two hours from LVC. Founded in 1866, the College welcomes more than 1,600 full-time undergraduate students studying more than 30 majors, as well as self-designed majors. It guarantees graduation within four years and offers automatic scholarships to students ranking in the top 30 percent of their high school class worth up to one half the cost of tuition at LVC.
