Maria Scacchitti to Study Away in London, England This Fall

Maria Scacchitti of Kersey, Pa., is one of 30 Lebanon Valley College students who will participate in an immersive experience by studying away during the Fall 2016 semester. Scacchitti will be studying in London, England.

This fall semester program offers students in any major the chance to complete certain LVC major/minor, general education, and elective requirements in a suburb of the world's most livable large cities. Kingston University is located in Kingston-upon-Thames, an attractive riverside town in south-west London. Kingston is surrounded by beautiful countryside with a rich heritage, and is only 25 minutes by train from central London.

Scacchitti, a graduate of Elk County Christian High School, is pursuing a bachelor of science in psychology and English at The Valley.

LVC offers full-semester programs in 11 countries as well as several short-term international programs. By the time they graduate, 20 percent of LVC students will have lived and studied in another country.
