Malia Waltman Named a Mosaic Mentor at Lebanon Valley College

Malia Waltman, of Gordonville, Pa., is one of 14 students selected as a Mosaic Mentor at Lebanon Valley College for the 2017-18 academic year.

Waltman, a graduate of Pequea Valley High School, is pursuing a bachelor of science in digital communications and international business at The Valley.

As a Mosaic Mentor, Waltman provides direct and dedicated peer support to incoming and transfer ALANA (African/African American, Latina, Asian and Native American), Multicultural Fellowship, Lebanon Valley Educational Partnership, international, and LGBTQ+ identifying students. The mentor program assists students with their academic, social, and personal transition during their first year at LVC. Mentors also help first-year Fellowship students in understanding and completing requirements associated with the Multicultural Fellowship Program.
