Makenzie Kelley Earns Conference Player of the Week Award

After guiding Lebanon Valley to two wins last week, women's lacrosse player Makenzie Kelley was named MAC Commonwealth Offensive Player of the Week. Kelley, a graduate of Lower Dauphin High School, is pursuing a bachelor of science in early childhood education and special education.

Kelley tied a program record for most goals in a game with nine in the Flying Dutchmen's 21-10 victory over Lycoming on Thursday afternoon. She added six draw controls, five ground balls, and caused three turnovers. In a 13-9 win over Elizabethtown three days earlier, the junior netted three markers. For the week, she finished with 13 points on 12 goals and an assist, while eight of her nine goals were unassisted.
