Leslie Ader of Hummelstown, Pa., is serving as a student leader at Lebanon Valley College this year. Ader is the president of HYPE (History/Political Science/Economics Club) and LVC Autism Spectrum Disorders.

The History and Political Science Club is open to both majors and non-majors. The group sponsors debates, panel discussions, political simulations, and field trips The club also sponsors programs to educate high school and elementary school students in the social science fields. HyPE runs both voter registration and book drives.

Ader is a senior political science and history major.

Lebanon Valley College is located in Annville, Pa., just 15 minutes east of Hershey and 35 minutes east of Harrisburg. Philadelphia, Washington D.C. and Baltimore are all approximately two hours from LVC. Founded in 1866, the College welcomes more than 1,600 full-time undergraduate students studying more than 30 majors, as well as self-designed majors. It guarantees graduation within four years and offers automatic scholarships to students ranking in the top 30 percent of their high school class worth up to one half the cost of tuition at LVC.
