Lebanon Valley College Recognizes Winter Student-Athletes

John Meck of Lancaster, Pa., was among 177 Lebanon Valley College students who played a varsity sport during the 2014-2015 winter season. Meck, a graduate of Lancaster Catholic High School, is pursuing a bachelor of science in business administration at The Valley and was a member of the men's swimming team.

Lebanon Valley earned three team wins on the season while individually, freshman Ian Lloyd and junior Alayna Kalinay were named MAC Commonwealth Swimmers of the Week on Dec. 1. Lloyd also earned all-MAC honors at the conference's championships in mid-February to go along with his silver medal in the 200 butterfly while freshman Chris Kurtz finished also earned all-MAC status. The men's 200 medley relay team consisting of Lloyd, Bobby Burkhardt, Clay Heebner, and Kurtz set a new school record earned a spot on the podium thanks to a seventh place performance at the MAC championships.

A member of the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division III, American Collegiate Hockey Association (ACHA), Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC), and Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC), Lebanon Valley College offers 24 sports.
