Lebanon Valley College Recognizes Winter Student-Athletes

Matthew McMonagle of Bayonne, N.J., was among 177 Lebanon Valley College students who played a varsity sport during the 2014-2015 winter season. McMonagle, a graduate of Hudson Catholic Regl High School, is pursuing a bachelor of science in early childhood education at The Valley and was a member of the men's basketball team.

The Flying Dutchmen finished one win short of the .500 mark this winter with a record of 12-13 and 6-10 in Commonwealth Conference play. LVC senior Kevin Agnew netted a team-high 23.5 points per game, was named to the MAC Commonwealth All-Conference First-Team, and won the league's scoring title for the second-straight season while freshman Andy Orr was named the conference's Rookie of the Year behind his 15.6 points and 7.6 rebounds per contest.

A member of the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division III, American Collegiate Hockey Association (ACHA), Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC), and Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC), Lebanon Valley College offers 24 sports.
