Lebanon Valley College Inducts Nicholas Seaton to Alpha Kappa Delta Honor Society

Nicholas Seaton of Ambler, Pa., was recently inducted to Alpha Kappa Delta, the Sociology and Criminal Justice Department honor society at Lebanon Valley College, during Inquiry 2015. Seaton, a graduate of Lansdale Catholic High School, is pursuing a bachelor of arts in criminal justice and psychology at The Valley.

Alpha Kappa Delta (AKD), the Sociology and Criminal Justice Department honor society, is dedicated to the ideal of Athropon Katamannthanein Diakonesin, or "to investigate humanity for the purpose of service." AKD seeks to acknowledge and promote excellence in scholarship in the study of sociology, the research of social problems, and such other social and intellectual activities as will lead to improvement in the human condition.

Inquiry 2015 coincides with the Council for Undergraduate Research's week-long celebration of student research and achievement. At LVC, we will celebrate the scholarly, scientific, and creative achievements of the student body. Inquiry events are scheduled for Sunday, April 12, through Friday, April 24.
