Lebanon Valley College Inducts Douglas Stansley to the Phi Kappa Pi Honor Society

Douglas Stansley of Hampton, N.J., was recently inducted to Phi Kappa Pi, the Business and Economic Department honor society at Lebanon Valley College, during the College's Inquiry 2015 celebration. Stansley, a graduate of North Hunterdon High School, is pursuing a bachelor of arts and bachelor of science in economics, business administration, and political science at The Valley.

Phi Kappa Pi, the Business and Economics Department honor society, is open to business, accounting, and economics majors. Selection is made by department faculty. Membership is open to those with junior or senior status, a department GPA of 3.4 or higher, and a College GPA of 3.25 or higher. Candidates for membership must also exhibit participation in department, college, or community activities demonstrating leadership and non-academic involvement.

Inquiry 2015 coincides with the Council for Undergraduate Research's week-long celebration of student research and achievement. At LVC, we will celebrate the scholarly, scientific, and creative achievements of the student body. Inquiry events began Sunday, April 12, and conclude Friday, April 24.
