Lebanon Valley College Inducts Charles Thai to the Kappa Delta Pi Honor Society

2015 Apr 23

Charles Thai of Reading, Pa., was recently inducted to Kappa Delta Pi, the international honor society in education at Lebanon Valley College, during the College's Inquiry 2015 celebration. Thai, a graduate of Governor Mifflin High School, is pursuing a bachelor of science and bachelor of arts in music education and music at The Valley.

Founded in 1911, Kappa Delta Pi represents knowledge, duty, and power. Pioneering from its beginning by including women as well as men, KDP grew from a local chapter to the international organization it is today, comprising 600 chapters and more than 40,000 members. Albert Einstein, George Washington Carver, Eleanor Roosevelt, and Margaret Mead are just a few of the historically known members.

Inquiry 2015 coincides with the Council for Undergraduate Research's week-long celebration of student research and achievement. At LVC, we will celebrate the scholarly, scientific, and creative achievements of the student body. Inquiry events began Sunday, April 12, and conclude Friday, April 24.
