Kirsten Bannan Named to Middle Atlantic Conference Academic Honor Roll

Kirsten Bannan of Annapolis, Md., is one of more than 150 Lebanon Valley student-athletes named to the Middle Atlantic Conference's (MAC) Winter and Spring Academic Honor Roll.

Bannan, a graduate of Saint Mary's High School, is a member of the women's lacrosse team, and is pursuing a bachelor of science in digital communications at The Valley.

The academic honor roll is comprised of student-athletes who compete in a varsity level sport and registered a term/semester GPA of 3.20 (on a 4.00 scale) or higher. In 2015-16, the MAC allowed freshmen to be eligible for the conference academic honor roll for the first time.

The addition of freshmen allowed for a record 2,278 MAC student-athletes who competed in baseball, men's and women's basketball, men's and women's golf, men's and women's lacrosse, softball, men's and women's swimming, men's and women's tennis, men's and women's indoor track & field, and men's and women's outdoor track & field to earn honor roll recognition. A total of 827 student-athletes were named to the winter honor roll and 1,451 were named to the spring version.
