Jordan Heavel Recognized for men's tennis at Lebanon Valley College

Jordan Heavel of Hanover, Pa., was one of more than 200 Lebanon Valley College students who played a varsity sport during the 2016 spring season. Heavel, a graduate of South Western High School, was a member of Lebanon Valley's men's tennis team(s). Heavel is pursuing a bachelor of science in health science and Spanish at The Valley.

The Dutchmen were led by junior Jonathan Hastings and senior Cody Manmiller this spring as the pair helped LVC to its ninth straight MAC Commonwealth postseason tournament this May. The season ended in the semifinal round of the MAC Commonwealth postseason tourney with a loss against Messiah. Hastings was named to the all-conference second-team and Manmiller received all-conference honorable mention honors. Junior Nick Jones was elected to the MAC Spring Sportsmanship team.

A member of the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division III, American Collegiate Hockey Association (ACHA), Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC), and Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC), Lebanon Valley College offers 24 sports.
