Jessica Hamati-Attieh Recognized for women's volleyball at Lebanon Valley College

Jessica Hamati-Attieh of Allentown, Pa., was one of more than 250 Lebanon Valley College students who played a varsity sport in fall 2015. Hamati-Attieh, a graduate of Bethlehem Catholic High School, was a member of Lebanon Valley's women's volleyball team. Hamati-Attieh is pursuing a bachelor of science in exercise science at The Valley.

Lebanon Valley won 22 matches in 2015 and racked up a 6-2 record against MAC Commonwealth opposition. The Flying Dutchmen qualified for the conferencees postseason tournament, as well as the ECAC South championship tourney. A pair of Dutchmen in Greta Weidemoyer and Emily Sides reached milestones, as Weidemoyer recorded her 1,000th kill and Sides recorded her 1,000th dig. Weidemoyer earned AVCA All-America honors for the second consecutive season, as well as CoSIDA Academic All-District and MAC Commonwealth First-Team accolades. Joining her on the all-conference team were Allie Garrett and Alli Quirk. All three players were voted AVCA All-Region honorees.

A member of the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division III, American Collegiate Hockey Association (ACHA), Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC), and Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC), Lebanon Valley College offers 24 sports.
