Jessica Hamati-Attieh Recognized as LVC Student-Athlete

Jessica Hamati-Attieh of Allentown, Pa., is one of more than 200 student-athletes who competed for the Flying Dutchmen during the Fall 2016 semester. Hamati-Attieh, a graduate of Bethlehem Catholic High School, is pursuing a bachelor of science in exercise science at The Valley.

Hamati-Attieh was a member of the volleyball team. Hamati-Attieh received the following post-season accolades: MAC All Conference Honors First Team. The volleyball team finished up 2016 with a 22-11 overall mark and 6-2 record in conference action. In the middle of the season, the Dutchmen enjoyed one of their longest-ever win streaks, rattling off 10 wins in a row. LVC fell to Messiah 3-0 in the MAC Commonwealth Semifinal match, but the Dutchmen followed it up with an ECAC Tournament appearance where LVC was downed by Marymount 3-2 in the quarterfinals.

A member of the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division III, American Collegiate Hockey Association (ACHA), Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC), and Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC), Lebanon Valley College offers 25 sports.
