Jeremy De la Cruz Recognized for football at Lebanon Valley College

Jeremy De la Cruz of Lebanon, Pa., was one of more than 250 Lebanon Valley College students who played a varsity sport in fall 2015. De la Cruz, a graduate of Lebanon High School, was a member of Lebanon Valley's football team. De la Cruz is pursuing a bachelor of arts in criminal justice at The Valley.

Lebanon Valley finished the season 5-5 with a 5-4 record in Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) play. The Flying Dutchmen kicked off the year by hosting Franklin & Marshall on a Thursday night under the lights. Nine players earned All-MAC honors, led by D3football.com All-American offensive lineman Tyler Good. The guard joined punter Spencer Moser as a D3football.com All-East Region selection. Running back Brendon Irving surpassed the 1,000-yard rushing mark for the second consecutive season. He is just the second player in program history to pull off the feat two years in a row.

A member of the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division III, American Collegiate Hockey Association (ACHA), Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC), and Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC), Lebanon Valley College offers 24 sports.
