Jasmine M. Olvany Enrolls at Lebanon Valley College

Lebanon Valley College welcomed Jasmine M. Olvany to its beautiful Annville campus in August 2013. Olvany is beginning a challenging and sophisticated course of study as a freshman biochemistry and molecular biology major, and will be taking classes from some of the most innovative faculty on campus.

A graduate of Southern Columbia Area High School, Olvany hails from Elysburg, Pa., one of the 13 U.S. states represented by the new students. Twelve percent of the new students were in the top 10 percent of their high school graduating class, automatically qualifying them for scholarships worth one-half tuition. Twenty-five percent of the new students are first-generation college students. LVC faculty and staff are looking forward to supporting each and every one of these new students as they boldly begin this new and exciting phase of their life.
