Jalen Cliatt Presented Research in Psychology Department Poster Session

Jalen Cliatt of Harrisburg, Pa., recently presented research at Lebanon Valley College's Fall 2014 Psychology Poster Session. Cliatt, a graduate of Central Dauphin East High School, is pursuing a bachelor of science in psychology at The Valley.

Cliatt was one of 50 students who gathered to present research at the poster session. Cliatt presented "Does Self-Esteem Predict Academic Achievement?"

The Psychology Department at Lebanon Valley College seeks to foster an understanding of human behavior that is built on a scientific foundation and is applied to real world phenomena and problems. Its curriculum is a student-oriented, liberal arts program that prepares students, following graduation, for applied entry positions in the work force or for graduate studies in a range of areas such as psychology, neuroscience, social work, medicine, business, education, and law.
